History can be interesting, but the history of your local area - Your Wales - is much more fascinating for many of us.

And, to be honest, most of us don't want great big text books, or even long articles.

We want something we can jump straight into, discover, learn about, and enjoy before quickly moving on.

That's why here you'll find single page 'snapshots' and historical stories about people, events and places at different times in your area's past.

We're only just starting up, so there's very little on the site at present - but you can help us develop it.
